SOAR is used by doctors in Primary and Secondary Care, as well as Trainee doctors working and training in Scotland. On completion of the Login Request Form below, an automated email will be sent to the Administrator of your selected sector / Health Board for actioning. Please take great care in choosing your details below to ensure the automated email is received by the right Administrator/s.
If you do NOT work in Scotland, then you DO NOT NEED to register for SOAR - SOAR is used by doctors who work in Scotland. If you work (and are being appraised) in England, you should contact the Revalidation support Team (RST) for further assistance.
If you are a health board administrator having issues with your own login, please contact the helpdesk for assistance. If you are a deanery trainee administrator having issues with your own login, please liaise with a fellow trainee admin in the first instance. The below form is not intended for admins to complete.
If you are a trainee in a training program and have a supervisor and require to login to SOAR to complete your Health, Probity, Complaints and Work History declarations, please select "Trainee Doctor" below.
If you are not in a training programme and require appraisal access (e.g. Clinical Development Fellows) please select Primary or Secondary Care (NOT Trainee).
